Sidebeat Music News – Longtime Billboard Chart Manager Wade Jessen Passes

ALL ACCESS and Sidebeat Music are sad to report the passing of WADE JESSEN, who served as BILLBOARD Sr. Charts Mgr. for Country, Christian and Gospel formats.

JESSEN reportedly suffered a heart attack early this morning (3/5). He was 53.

Jessen had been with BILLBOARD since 1994 after a successful career in radio that included stops at KSOP/SALT LAKE CITY and WSM-A/NASHVILLE. Concurrent with his duties at BILLBOARD, JESSEN hosted nights on SIRIUSXM’s “Willie Roadhouse” Classic Country channel, a forum which enabled him to put his encyclopedia-like knowledge of Country music on full display for listeners.
