Actress Savannah Lathem and host Kurt Kelly on ActorsE Chat
The delightful teen actress Savannah Lathem is originally from Hoover, Alabama and trekked out to California in 2007 to pursue an acting career. Her most recent TV series is on Disney called “I Didn’t Do It”. She played Danica Bricker who is Austin North’s girlfriend and the Principal’s daughter.
Her first TV show was on ABC’s Lost in 2009. She played Young Rachel Carlson. Other guest appearances include Criminal Minds, Castle and Private Practice.
Her most recent feature film is The Guest House, where she had a lead role alongside Eileen Davidson & Daniel Baldwin.
She won best supporting Actress in the 2012 Young Artist Awards for her performance alongside Robert Carlyle in an Indie Feature Film. It was also nominated for PRISM awards against Silver Linings, and was short listed for an Oscar nomination for the song California Solo.
After filming I Didn’t Do It she was honored to book a Professional Play at the Kirk Douglas Theater called different words for the same thing. She played a lead role with a stellar assemble cast: Sam Anderson (Lost), Monica Horan (Everybody loves Raymond), Alyson Reed (High School Musical) Devin Kelley (Resurrection) and other great cast members. It was cast by Heidi Levitt (who cast the Oscar winning, The Artist).
Her hobbies include singing and dancing and she enjoys hanging out with friends and family.
