Chicago native Trae Ireland is an actor. His television career began on the award-winning sitcom “Moesha.” Following his stint on Moesha, Trae landed roles on Emmy award-winning shows, “Once and Again” and “JAG,” which led to being cast in the films, the award-winning “Coach Carter,” “The Comebacks,” and “Breaking All The Rules.” On the set of “Breaking All The Rules,” Trae met CEO Clint Culpepper of Sony Screen Gems, the film studio that produced “Death at a Funeral,” “Takers,” and “Think Like A Man.”

Trae expressed to Mr. Culpepper his passion for film as an actor/producer. After three years under Screen Gems’ tutelage, Trae co-produced the hit comedy, “First Sunday” directed by David E. Talbert and starring Ice Cube, Tracy Morgan, Loretta Devine, and Katt Williams.

As a producer, Trae has worked with some of the entertainment industry’s elite, including but not limited to, Laurence Fishburne, Jamie Foxx, Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock, Jean Reno, Matt Dillion, and Zoe Saldana. Acting still plays a big role in Trae’s career; he has a recurring role as Jason Campbell on the award-winning TV One show, “Love that Girl,” executive produced by Martin Lawrence and created by Bentley Kyle Evans. He guest starred in the award-winning Fox TV show “Bones,” and starred in the David E. Talbert’s play, “A Fool and His Money,” as Smith.

Trae starred in two of Director H.M. Coakley’s feature films: Asylum Films’ “Cleaver Family Reunion” and Rockstone Releasing’s “Holla II.” Cleaver is available on iTunes, Comcast, Netflix, and Time Warner VOD. He is also co-starred in David E. Talbert’s production “Baggage Claim” and “About Last Night.” Later in 2014, see Trae starring in several feature films: a Baron Jay Production “The Condo,” a Jean Claude LaMarre Production, and in the Red Cardinal Film Production “Betrothed.” In 2015, he will co-star in Kevin Hart’s “Wedding Ringer.” Trae played the lead in Director James Cullen Bressack’s horror film, “13/13/13.” Trae also completed the Stroud Entertainment Production, “Patterns of Attraction,” in which he plays the lead, Shane Langston, co-starring Omar Gooding and Paula Jai Parker.

Trae will play in the Angel Terron Production “A.I.M.,” in October 2014 at the Acme Theater in Hollywood. Other productions Trae co-starred in includes Director/Writer Renee Margary’s stage play, “How to Love a Black Man,” Director/Writer Peachanga DuBose’s stage play, “The List,” “Secrets,” directed and written by Wallace Demarria, and Director/Writer Donald B. Welch’s gospel stage play, “Walking by Faith.”
