Hello everybody, I’m Danika Quinn of the Actors Reporter and welcome to the TradeVine.

Back Stage, June 9th-15th, 2011 – In the Advice section, the article is entitled, “What have you learned about acting since you became a teacher?” as reported by Jessica Gardner. According to Lily Lodge of The Actors Conservatory in New York, the more frenzied our lives become, the more an actor needs a safe place to develop his craft, because acting is the most personal of crafts, allowing the actor to access his giant heart. Warner Loughlin of Warner Loughlin Studios in Los Angeles says, all actors share the same worries and insecurities. We all sometimes fear that we simply won’t be able to deliver. Some of these worries fade with experience. Others may continue regardless of our success. And, Tony Persico of Via Sol Acting Studio in Los Angeles, has learned that acting from your heart’s desire creates a powerful force, ensuring an unforgettable performance.

The Hollywood Reporter, June 17th, 2011 – Warner Brothers Pictures and others congratulate Morgan Freeman on receiving the AFI Life Achievement Award. Also, an article entitled “A look back with Morgan Freeman,” by Noela Hueso. A fascinating interview with Morgan Freeman about Clint Eastwood, President Obama and getting older. Morgan shares that his life’s goal from childhood was to be an actor in the movies. Well, Mr. Freeman, you made it.

Daily Variety, Tuesday, June 14th, 2011 – L.A. Film Fest ignites buzz, by Kathy A Donald. Though only on its second year at its new location, the Los Angeles Film Festival’s bold move to downtown’s L.A. Live seems already to have paid off, drawing large showbiz crowds. The promoters are shooting for 80,000 attendees this year. For those films with distribution, a successful L.A. Film Fest screening raises a film’s profile and dmarketing momentum and can jump-start awards season conversations.
