Hollywood Reporter, February 18th – Staples Center Goes Vegetarian for Morrissey, by The THR Staff. Morrissey’s upcoming concert at Los Angeles’ Staples Center will mark the first time the venue goes all-vegetarian. A request previously denied to Paul McCartney. All vendors at the March 1 show were mandated to ban “flesh as food” by the singer, a longtime animal activist and vegetarian, who also urged the venue to close down its McDonald’s outlet. Staples Center agreed. Staples Center also will donate a portion of ticket-sales proceeds to PETA.

Daily Variety, February 18th – Pinterest teams with ‘Biggest Loser,’ by AJ Marechal. Pinterest, the pinboard-inspired picture sharing site, has teamed with NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” to promote the competish program and healthier lifestyle choices. Partnership includes Peacock-created instructional content that will appear on Pinterest and complement each week’s episode. Viewers will be directed to “Biggest Loser’s” Pinterest page during broadcasts, where they can discover recipes, lifestyle tips and exercises from show trainer Dolvett Quince and chef Devin Alexander.
