The Rules: Each of the nine teams to create a 5 minute parody of an Oscar-nominated film up for best feature.in 8 days of pre-production, 3 days of shooting and 13 days of post production and had every image and moment original and royalty free! These film shorts were screened at the world famous HERE Lounge in West Hollywood, California, with celebrity host Sandro Monetti.<p< < p=””> </p< <>

Each team is randomly assigned a movie to parody: American Sniper, Birdman, Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, Selma, The Theory of Everything, Whiplash, and the tossup: Into the Woods. <p< < p=””> </p< <>

A celebrity judging panel decided upon who will win in each categories including Best Whactor, Best Whactress, Best Director, Cinematographer, Best Supporting Whactor, Best Supporting Whactress, Best Writer (Scribbler), Best Music and a few more. The Spirit of the Toscars (an “unofficial Toscars, is a nod and a wink to Hollywood’s most famous night and a cheeky fun time is had by all. <p< < p=””> </p< <>
