Former WFOR reporter Judy Echavez, now living full time in L.A., took her reporting skills to a new level when she was recently cast to play a local reporter on CSI: Miami. It was deja vu for me when the crew handed me a CBS mic flag,” Echavez said. “It brought back memories of doing a live shot for WFOR.” In two scenes, Echavez is seen outside of police headquarters covering a breaking news story for Monday’s episode entitled Hostile Takeover.
